Leading up can be defined as "Consciously working with your boss to obtain the best possible results for you, your boss, and your organization." It is also the pursuit of a "healthy and productive working relationship based on mutual respect and understanding - understanding your own and your boss's strengths, weaknesses, goals, work styles, and needs." By focusing on skills in three board areas, we will explore the best practices of leading up: Partnering, Influencing/Negotiating and Political Savvy Where: The Eastern Shore Higher Education Center located next to the wind turbine on the Chesapeake College Wye Mills Campus. Parking is free!  


Cost:

  • $50 for one session for 2017 dues paying Shore Leadership Alumni or current class member or
  • $90 if you sign up to do both sessions
  • $75 for one session for 2017 Shore Leadership Alumni non-dues paying alumni and guests
  • $135 if you sign up to do both sessions
  • $35 additional cost for CEU's for one session
  • $50 additional cost for CEU's for both sessions
Lunch will be provided by the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center.
